Also, this is pretty much anecdotal. So this guy is a homicide detective. How does that make him an authority on the bible, biblical history, science, theology, etc? And how is his experience evidence of its truth? He was convinced, but why should that be evidence to me? Other people read through the same things he did and concluded that Christianity was not true. So it's their word vs his.

I guess you missed the part about the man being a cold case homicide detective who never lost a case after he retrieved it from the cold case files and brought it back into trial. He was intrigued by the gospels because they read as eyewitness accounts, and he set out to disprove them and found their credibility to be beyond reasonable doubt.

Nobody ever believes on Jesus as their Savior unless they see their need. Until you see that there is something wrong with you, you will never seek God's solution. Your efforts to trash every Christian by saying they were emotionally needy when they turned to believe on Jesus is true. It takes a real man to get real and admit they are at fault and do not have the solution. Evolution is not the solution, dying is not an escape. You need God's help, we all do, and it takes a real man to admit it.

He took the same investigative approach as the cold case homicide detective in the subject video......Sir Lionell Luckoo set out to prove the gospel story to be lies and came out with this statement: "I have spent more than forty-two years as a defense trial lawyer appearing in many parts of the world....I say unequivoally the evidence for the resurrection of Jesus Christ is so overwhelming that it compels acceptance by proof which leaves no reasonable doubt."

You are avoiding an objective examination of the facts...and could it be because you know that if you believe on Jesus, you have to take sides with God in His view of sexual indulgences? God's way is the best way, I wouldn't bank a dime on the marriage you are talking about the way you play with fire., though I do hope it lasts forever and you are happy ever after.......but I won't bank on it from what I've seen.

Comeon, give me a break. Do you see any evidence that the cold case homicide detective is trying to escape reality? Is he hiding from reality or is he being honest? Atheists are the ones trying to escape reality in death, trying to get out of being who they are. You don't get out in death. A lot of people tried suicide and found they don't get out in death. Believing life came from dirt and you get out in death is a religion of futility, a false hope, and a tragic mistake. I hope you wake up before you wake up in Hell. People say all kinds of nasty stuff about me, and you know I can fire back at them pretty good, but I'm really a softy, tenderhearted and I feel sorry for people who don't know God's love for them is real.

I became a Christian in large part because I wanted to be sure I could not end up in Hell. People told me I would be saved if I prayed something like this: "Dear God, I know I'm a sinner and deserve to die, and I believe Jesus is your Son, God the Son who died for my sins and rose from the grave and offers forgiveness so I'm receiving Him as my Savior now". I prayed that prayer many times, but I never really believed God heard and answered that prayer.......AND HE DID NOT!!!!. Then one day I was around a bunch of guys who were trying to tell a minister that they were Christians, and I knew those guys personally and they were perverts and dope heads. The minister was pointing to John 3:18, and John 3:36....He that believes not shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. I looked at those guys and said to myself: "those guys are liars, they are not Christians or they would not be doing the things they do. They don't believe on Jesus, so they don't see life. Even though they have eyes, they are blind....and I pictured God's wrath abiding on their shoulders kinda like Atlas carrying the world only those guys were unaware they were carrying the load of the wrath of God against their sin...AND THEN I REALIZED I WAS ONE OF THEM!!! I had a head knowledge, I tried to believe, but I had not really believed on Jesus. I had said the prayer asking God to save me, but it was not from my heart. Suddenly I knew I deserved to die and burn in Hell and I believed with my heart, and at that moment I came into agreement with God as to His righteousness to kill me at any moment and my need of His mercy, and His provision of mercy in that He poured out His anger against my sin on Himself, on His own Son....and He lives to be my life, my forgiveness, I received Him for real, Jesus is alive and lives in my by His Holy Spirit, I have a heavenly father now and I am born of His spirit, I am His property bought and paid for by His own blood which covers my sin, "Saint" means set apart for God, God's property. You can't touch this!!! Even if the Muslims cut my head off, they can't touch this!!!! God owns me and nobody can get me away from Him.

Sure there is a recurring trend of people searching to escape the reality of their dying. That's what God is offering you, a way out of dying into eternal life. Unless you are dissatisfied with your life, you won't seek life from God. If you can be satisfied with dying, then be satisfied with it but you don't get out of reality that way, you'll wake up in Hell dying forever like an eternal frying sausage. I'm not trying to send you there or wish it on you, I'm not trying to judge you, I'm not happy to say you are on your way to Hell. I simply hate to see you go. I'll honestly miss you.
