From the looks of public housing, do we want public health care?

public health care

We do not have the right to free health care.

That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing,

I'm just not interested in public health care.

My sweetie is from England. A few years back the dentist thought he would need a root canal. He didn't have dental coverage. It would have been cheaper for him to fly home where he will always be covered and have it done than to have it done here.

What does that tell you.

I have asked them all about how they feel about their health care over there. I've even been there on vacation when Dominic has had eye exams and such. There are no real complaints. You go to the doctor much like here ,call in, go next day, he writes a script, you get it filled - there you go.

His Mum got veneers and it cost less than ONE root canal here.

Watch "Sicko". It really could be the best option.

You cannot judge one program based upon a completely different one.

From the looks of a government-run military, do we want a government run space program? One has been overfunded and the other underfunded.

From the looks of government-backed education, do we want a government-backed bank system?

I think you see where I'm going here. And remember, the current government health system is the MOST efficient in the country.

Side: No comparison

I was under the impression that all government programs are mismanaged. So from that point you can compare them.

How mismanaged is this program compared to that one given a certain criteria?

For example; What level of mismanagement will be reached by a government health care system program compared to the other mismanaged government programs using one or more of the following as our criteria?

1. The complexity of the program

2. The size of the program

3. The amount of money allocated for the program

See? You can also compare apples to oranges if you specify a criteria that applies to both. For example, How much bigger is the circumference of that apple compared to that orange?

I think where you're going is that any health care system suffers from a bureaucracy. I've dealt with the VA health care system and thank heavens I don't use them as my primary provider any more! Now if that were the way the gov't handled public health, we'd all be better off in another country. Fortunately, Medicare and the government employee insurance program are much better run.

Is it possible to give up your American citizenship and take some other citizenship, like France? Then what we can do is go over there as French citizens and try out their health care. If we don't like it, we come back.
