Why did you stand up for her if the world hates her ?

What you stated proves you’re just another hypocritical “Christian “ who lectures others on how Jesus would behave while doing the complete and utter opposite yourself , I don’t blame your mother turning on you

Come on now, this is first commandment stuff. Honor thy Father and thy Mother.

While I don't know under what circumstances you had for standing up for her maybe the method in which you did so was something worth correcting you on. Just by this debate alone it seems like there's something a little more to it. The world most certainly does not hate her but you sure seem to.

Whether she shows gratitude or not, she is your mom, and you will ALWAYS owe her for your existence. (Often called the Ontological Debt.)

Standing up for her is basic to the purpose of your existence. So is forgiving her for real and imagined slights. She did not abort you, kill you as a baby, or sell you into slavery when you were being a pain-in-the-ass.

Grow up.

Get off your pity potty.

And, for Christ's sake, buy your mom some flowers to apologize for your pettiness.

Then move on with your life (an important part of which is making your mom's life better.)

Trust me on all of this. You have a limited window of time with your mom. Be good to her while you can. Mine has been dead for 20 years, and I still miss her.
