The reality is that, given any 'proof', one can say "not good enough" to anything. Prove that man was on the moon. Moon rocks? Could be a meteor. Film? I saw Han Solo flying the Millennium Falcon on film. Prove a guy named Columbus 'discovered' America. There are more books and written evidence that a man named Jesus lived and then died on a cross. No, you are playing a silly game and desire no evidence, only ammo for more ridicule.
Well, I have proof of Alspism. Alsp is the Abnormally large space penis that created everything. I will give you three irrefutable pieces of evidence.
1. The cost of sperm. Sperm is expensive. Bull sperm is more expensive. How can this be? The average male can produce up to 100 million a day. The only explanation is that a giant penis is telling us that wasting sperm is a sin.
2. The amount of phallic shaped buildings. No competent designer would willingly build anything that resembled a penis. Yet there are thousands of such buildings around the world. The only explanation is that a penis is telling us to create buildings in his image.
3. Thompson's Cosmological Argument. Slightly different from the others.
"2. The amount of phallic shaped buildings. No competent designer would willingly build anything that resembled a penis. Yet there are thousands of such buildings around the world. The only explanation is that a penis is telling us to create buildings in his image."
Everyone knows they were built by the Freemasons, or the Illuminati, or the Lizard people, or maybe the Bidlerberg Conference, or probably the Council of Foreign Relations, actually it might have been the Rothchilds...
After doing some serious research I've discovered that all phallic shaped strucutres were built personally by the Queen of England.
1. Tacitus, a respected Senator of the Roman Empire and noted historian mentions Pontius Pilate, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tacitus Proof that Pontius Pilate was actually a real person that existed at the time of Jesus, also gives credit to the existence of Jesus. In Tacitus' account of history, he also writes of prosecution of Christians. Tacitus also includes chronological narrative order to his works along with official minutes of the Roman Senate.
2. The claim that nothing was wrote about Jesus provides further proof of his existence. Singers, painters, sculptors, and even scientist are rarely as famous living as they are died. More people know Whitney Houston, Da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Einstein then ever did when they where living.
3. Only a story, doesn't carry any wait. The lliad was wriiten around the 8th century BC and its' gods carry little weight, yet the story of Christ carries much more.

Gives credence to the historicity of Jesus, not the verity of the religion itself.

How does any human claim prove anything supernatural?
3. Only a story, doesn't carry any wait. The lliad was wriiten around the 8th century BC and its' gods carry little weight, yet the story of Christ carries much more.
We perceive the story of Christ as being of greater truthfulness than the stories of Homer. So what?

The question of Jesus' existence is not the important one, it is whether or not he was the son of God.
The claim that nothing was wrote about Jesus provides further proof of his existence. Singers, painters, sculptors, and even scientist are rarely as famous living as they are died. More people know Whitney Houston, Da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Einstein then ever did when they where living.
That is not proof at all. Wanna know how I know unicorns are real? No-one has ever seen them...
Only a story, doesn't carry any wait. The lliad was wriiten around the 8th century BC and its' gods carry little weight, yet the story of Christ carries much more.
Er, isn't that an argument against Christianity. You're saying it's only a story...
Prove you exist and I'll prove Jesus was the Son of God.
All those people mentioned actually lived and people know about them. No believes in unicorns because they don't exist. People believe in Jesus, because he existed. Proof that people don't follow unicorns, is actually proof that Jesus does exist.
Everything that is told to you by some one else is a story. How your parents met? Why they named you what they did? etc. etc. To say something is a story just means one has never seen it thyself.
Prove you exist and I'll prove Jesus was the Son of God.
I'm responding to you right now. I'd say that's pretty compelling evidence that I exist. Regardless, it wouldn't help your case. I'm not the son of God, Jesus apparently was. But there is a lack of objective evidence to suggest that Jesus was the son of God.
No believes in unicorns because they don't exist
Disprove their existence then. Otherwise, you must accept that there is a possibility that unicorns exist.
People believe in Jesus, because he existed.
I don't dispute his existence. I dispute his divinity.
Proof that people don't follow unicorns, is actually proof that Jesus does exist.
How so? No-one follows Wotan, so that must mean Allah exists. No-one follows Jupiter, so that must mean the Flying Spaghetti Monster exists.
Everything that is told to you by some one else is a story. How your parents met? Why they named you what they did? etc. etc. To say something is a story just means one has never seen it thyself.
But what you mentioned were facts. It is a fact that my parents met, it is a fact that they named me for a reason, etc. But it is currently not a fact that Jesus was the son of God. You still need to give evidence for that.
I care less whether you think unicorns exists or not, unless you believe in unicorns. If you believe in them, then how can you rule out others things that you haven't seen?
Divine: 2a: supremely good : superb Merriam Webster
History as show that Jesus followed in the footsteps on John the Baptist and then carried his works to a higher level. Divinity by definition.
No evidence is needed for faith, because it is faith. You asked to prove that Christianity is true, I proved that its founder lived, that his stories were told, and that no one reasonable believes in things that don't exist.
Does passion exist or love or hate or any emotion or have we just tagged a response as such?
As far as I know your just a computer generated response such as Cleverbot.
Oh! I'm honoured!
I care less whether you think unicorns exists or not, unless you believe in unicorns. If you believe in them, then how can you rule out others things that you haven't seen?
I'm not ruling out the chance that Jesus was divine. I'm simply taking the negative position until you provide evidence.
Divine: 2a: supremely good : superb Merriam Webster
History as show that Jesus followed in the footsteps on John the Baptist and then carried his works to a higher level. Divinity by definition.
Divine 1a: of, relating to, or proceeding directly from God or a god.
I think it's obvious which one we're using when we speak of Jesus' divinity.
No evidence is needed for faith, because it is faith. You asked to prove that Christianity is true, I proved that its founder lived, that his stories were told, and that no one reasonable believes in things that don't exist.
Your first statement puts us at an impasse then. I do not have faith in Christianity, thus evidence is required. But you do have faith in Christianity, and do not require evidence. You can see how this is problematic.
And you have only proven to me that Christianity exists. I want proof that what it preaches is true. I want proof to suggest that there is a God that cares about us, that sent his son down to convey his word, etc. You have so far done nothing of the kind.
Does passion exist or love or hate or any emotion or have we just tagged a response as such?
You still haven't proved you are human? I proved that you may not be. You want proof and so do I.
How is partaking is Christianity a bad thing? If it is not bad, then what difference does it make whether there is proof or not. Why question that which matters not? To attempt to live by the example set isn't evil, in fact it would solve a lot of the problems in the world.
How is believing in things that you have no proof of irrelevant?
You still haven't proved you are human? I proved that you may not be. You want proof and so do I.
What would constitute as proof for you?
How is partaking is Christianity a bad thing?
Did I say it was?
If it is not bad, then what difference does it make whether there is proof or not. Why question that which matters not
Why question anything at all? When they announced that neutrinos had traveled faster than the speed of light, it didn't matter at all. Yet many people still questioned it. By the way, it looks like it was an inaccurate measurement after all. Also, when you have a religion which is able to stick its nose in other people's business, it is of vital importance to question its truth. When you have people calling floods punishment sent by God for homosexuality, that is when it matters.
To attempt to live by the example set isn't evil, in fact it would solve a lot of the problems in the world.
What is the example set?
How is believing in things that you have no proof of irrelevant?
It's not relevant to this particular discussion. On another, sure. But on one about religion, it is a distraction.
You still have not proven Jesus' divinity. I await your proof eagerly.
What would constitute as proof that you exist? I only require the same evidence that you need that God exists. Anything less than this can only mean that you don't exist.
As far as religion sticking its' nose in other peoples business, What do think the atheist do here and else where?
Yes, people will say things that aren't always true; such as floods punishment to homosexuals. The same people that say these things also say God doesn't exist. My point is that people say things, it doesn't make it true.
If you knew anything about Christianity you wouldn't have to ask, What example?
The world is full of distractions, deal with them.
I'll prove Jesus' divinity, when you prove your human.
What would constitute as proof that you exist? I only require the same evidence that you need that God exists. Anything less than this can only mean that you don't exist.
I'm fed up now. Stop with your bullshit solipsism, no offence Liber, and stop dodging the question.
As far as religion sticking its' nose in other peoples business, What do think the atheist do here and else where?
Oh boo hoo. The only reason "militant" atheism exists is due to religion being nosy.
Yes, people will say things that aren't always true; such as floods punishment to homosexuals. The same people that say these things also say God doesn't exist. My point is that people say things, it doesn't make it true.
I think you'll find it's very difficult to declare X as a punishment from the lack of a god. People say things that are false, yes. But they also say things that are true. You believe that your God is true. I do not believe it is.
If you knew anything about Christianity you wouldn't have to ask, What example?
No, because there are 38,000 denominations of Christianity. I'm asking which of those 38,000 examples you follow.
I'll prove Jesus' divinity, when you prove your human.
Pro tip: when insulting another person's intelligence, it's best that you use the right form of "you're" in order to avoid embarrassment.
I read your link. And I'm still awaiting a rebuttal. Making a condescending comment, then providing a link to a debate that has no relevance to this discussion is not a rebuttal.
A pro on here. I'm guessing you consider yourself a Masterbator. (Misspelled intentional)
"Critics are like eunuchs in a harem; they know how it's done, they've seen it done every day, but they're unable to do it themselves." Brendan Behan
Many rebuttals have been done and will always be done in what the uneducated deem as irrelevant.
“Experience has shown, and a true philosophy will always show, that a vast, perhaps the larger portion of the truth arises from the seemingly irrelevant” Edgar Allan Poe
Who cares if it meets your criteria? I don't. It meets all the requirements of any dictionary and they are the experts. Your a nobody, and so I answer accordingly.
To continue to throw out excuses, only reinforces what I already said. Cry on.
Argument from authority. Regardless, I think you'll find my definition is accepted universally. If you would just take the time to look at another dictionary entry, like this, then you'll see that you are yet to rebut.
You asked that I give you rebuttal, not to rebut what you said. You never asked for evidence or proof, just a response. If you wanted proof, you should have asked for it. The words rebuttal and rebut are not interchangeable. The evidence to support this is your own link.
What question? I answered your questions. Just because you don't like the answer I gave you is no reason for me to change my response. I suggest you only debate with your atheist butt buddies if you want a response that agrees with you.
You started this by saying, "Stop with your bullshit solipsism..."
That is not an argument, it is only an excuse. One has to prove that a fallacy has occurred, didn't see any evidence that one was committed. Cry wolf when there isn't one and then wonder why nobody comes a running when there is one.
Pull your head out of your ass and you might learn something. I never avoid a question, I just answer them to the best of my abilities. I cannot help it if the answer I give isn't the one you want. That is your problem, not mine.
ISLAM the only religion which clarified each and everything in a single Holy Book QURAN whether it is about universe creation, lunar eclipse each and everything is mentioned life to death...
In Islam- Emryology is described in great detail, it even refers to the similarity between the leech and the embryo. That is very surprising to find in a book which is around 1400 years old. The Big bang is mentioned in the quar'an too-“Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, then We separated them, and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?” (Quran 21:30)
and the expansion of the Universe-“And the heaven We created with might, and indeed We are (its) expander.” (Quran 51:47)
