God is more correctly described as...

A what

VS.

A who

Who would refer to something human. It probably makes more sense to think of God as a what because It has many properties that humans don't.

"Who" seems to entail a sense of humaness. God is not human. He is a god. An unfathomable god. He is more of a what than a who.

GOD / SATAN AND ANGELS . . . . Someone has said that the most important thing about you is what comes to your mind when you think about God . . . It’s true .. What you believe about God has serious .. long-term impact on how you live .. every thought .. word .. action .. and attitude is ultimately a reflection of your beliefs .. right or wrong .. about God and His character . . With so much at stake .. there’s really no more important pursuit than sorting out reality from myth and knowing God for who He really is . . . http://dadmansabode.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=751#p751 ... come and learn

the nature of the incarnation .. part 2 of 3 http://www.gty.org/MediaPlayer/sermons/80-207

God .. after he spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways .. in these last days has spoken to us in his Son .. whom he appointed heir of all things .. through whom also he made the world .. and he is the radiance of his glory and the exact representation of his nature .. and upholds all things by the word of his power .. when he had made purification of sins .. he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high ... Hebrews 1:1-3

............. the exact representation of his nature

Side: A who

"Who" would be the correct description since most people picture God as an almighty Father.
