Good and Evil Do Not Exist
Good and Evil are societal fictions, mores, which act as a useful tool (sometimes for oppression). All things in existence simply are. The value judgment places on conduct reflects societal and personal goals, generally evolved over generations, to help congeal society and regulate behaviour.
If it exists, it exists as an internally experienced emotion that is completely subjective. Ideas of good and evil evolve with societies to promote the cohesion and functioning of the society. Emotions are real, as in they are the result of certain chemicals in our body. Change the chemical composition, you change the emotion. Islamic terrorists believe it is "good" to kill non-believing civilians. Does that "good" exist? 2

Good and evil are abstract concepts which change from generation to generation, and place to place. So are art, humor, and beauty. Do you deny their existence as well? Yes, the understanding, application, or appreciation of something we as humans are born with varies from place to place, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. 1

Good and evil does not exist. At a fundamental level, there is really no good and evil in the universe. Everything just is. It is perception that frames reality. Good and evil is based on perception. Therefore the perception of good and evil depends on the one perceiving it. If you perceive something as good, then to you it is good. If you perceive something as evil, then to you it is evil. We can choose our own frame of reality or we can choose to follow the frame set by another in his perception of good and evil. Good and evil is a judgment. To consider something better than or worse than is a judgment. Evil is something of inferior quality compared to something better, therefore a lesser good is considered evil when compared with a greater good. When there is no judgment, there is no consideration of something being better or worse than another. Everything is accepted equally as it is. Judgment creates separation of one thing with another whereas non judgment sees the oneness and equality of all things. 1
