The very truth that water stays in one's glass is valid evidence for the 'conjecture' of gravity. The issue is determining where it comes from. Here so far we have determined two possibilities: A) It is the particle Graviton, though we have had no success in finding it, or B) It is the property or force of either another dimension, or of the multiverse, from which we recieve the 'second-hand' gravitational effect. Side: True
An apple falls to the ground from a tree, a classic example of gravity. Is gravity true or false? Well that depends on which part of "gravity" you're talking about. Conventional, Euclidean physics that we are taught in high school is actually not exactly true in the universe. i.e. it is not "universal." Many people believe that gravity is a force that "attracts" objects toward each other, depending on the mass of each object. For example, the Earth orbits around the sun in an elliptical path due to two foci formed by the "attraction" of gravity and the pull of momentum. Airplanes crash land because of the attraction caused by gravity that pull the airplane to the ground. However, modern physics have determined mathematically and experimentally that gravity does not work in a "Newtonian" or Euclidean manner...thus forming the notion that Newton's law of universal gravitation taught in high school is complete bull. Gravity is an interaction between two objects that display certain characteristics under certain conditions. It can cause two objects to move toward one another or repel one another, hypothetically anyways, under different conditions. The force of gravity is also not instantaneous, limited by the speed of light (Though you are not taught this in high school, it is part of Newton's law of gravity and untrue). If the sun disappeared right now, it would take 8.31 mins for the lack of gravity to be felt by Earth and make us drift into space. Gravity like the other three fundamental forces, is mediated by a hypothetical particle called the graviton, predicted by the math of particle physics, and contradictory to what Newton believed (efforts to finding the particle is already underway: LIGO and VIRGO). Gravity can also bend the fabric of spacetime, therefore causing the effects of Newtonian gravity. Gravity can also cause two objects made of exotic mass (research) to move away from each other, a contradiction to the "attraction" of Newtonian gravity. Thus, Newton's "law" of gravity is partially wrong and needs reform. For the purposes of this debate, I will consider the modern version of gravity as true but Newtonian gravity (to which the creator I assume is referring to) is false Side: depends

Are you retarded? It's called special effects. Your are arguing a solidly proved scientific concept with a couple of cheesy action movies? It takes a tremendous amount of force to leave Earth. That's why rockets have to carry so much fuel. They have to generate so many pounds of thrust to reach and maintain escape velocity which is 11.2 km/s. Side: True

I knew there would be one idiot who wouldn't understand. I'm glad it's you who took the bait. Side: False
If gravity where true, the subs gravitational pull is stronger on the moon then the earths gravitational pull is on it, so for gravity to be true it would have to go around the sun. Also gravity assumes planets spin in the same orbit, for millions of years, but this contradicts the Second Law of Thermodynamics. In science there are always opposites, matter anti matter, so there must be anti gravity, there is none discovered yet, hence gravity is false until they find anti gravity. Further it's false on math! Many claim basic math proves it, yet the funny thing is they had to create a new type of math too prove it!! Further the theory says gravity waves exist, they have never been found, gravity is false until they find it. Also, if gravity exists, why don't airplanes fall? Gravity is false under current findings Side: False
