Gun control stems from the racist Whites of the past

After the Civil War, when blacks fought along whites to secure freedom for all, southern states enacted Black Codes, laws that restricted the civil rights and liberties of blacks. Central to the enforcement of these laws were the stiff penalties for blacks possessing firearms.

Gun control stems from the mothers and fathers and sisters and brothers … etc. that have lost relatives and friends NO MATTER WHAT COLOR THEY WERE! NOTHING to do with RACE!

I've lived in this country longer than you, I would bet. For most of those years people had guns, few were afraid of them like they are now! Until several Presidents and beloved leaders were shot, and vigilante posses popped up, and every alpha male decided he had to have a bigger, faster shooting gun to "protect him (her) self", there was no problem. I was an NRA member from the time I was … probably 14. Their big thing then was gun safety, especially taught to the young. Then, somebody found they could make $millions promoting gun sales, and, with Charlton Heston's voice leading the way, they were off! Nothing "racist", just financial! Enter "gun control"! Enter the well armed "racist", enter the mess we have today …. with gun control OF SOME TYPE becoming NECESSARY!
