Guns don't kill people unless they are pointed at people and the trigger is pulled. Those people could be Marxists, Fascists, Democrats, Republicans, presidents or rednecks, doctors or lawyers, cowboys or indians, atheists or ministers, white supremacists and racists, etc., etc. It has nothing to do with any political or economic entity. It has to do with INTENT. (OR, more rarely, accident). When there are many more guns than actually needed both intent AND accident has to increase. So, what's your point?? To spread hate and discontent?? Side: I Admit It

Okay, these aren't two apposing things, both guns and Marxism can kill people, although I am a socialist I can see how communism when done incorrectly can result in deaths, so I give you the idea that things labelled as Marxism or communism have been known to result in deaths, although Id argue that capitalism has killed so many more people. Onto the first part of your statement, 'Guns don't kill people' which is usually followed by 'people kill people' and see where the people are coming from however I'd like to suggest that people with guns kill a lot quicker and easier then people with almost anything else. Therefore they should be regulated to make it as hard as possible for people to kill people. Also if your only argument to my point is 'bombs are quicker and easier then guns my answer is I don't know if you're right or not, however I think all weapons should be very strongly regulated and bombs also being dangerous doesn't mean guns are any less of a problem Side: Deny Everything

I only disagree with your premise that Marxism kills people. I can understand the argument for certain ideologies killing people (particularly the militant religious ideologies), but Marxism is not one of them. Certainly, a great many people have died in states which have identified themselves to be Marxist, but I truly believe that in none of these cases was Marxism ever a first cause. There is nothing in Marxist theory about letting people starve or them being regarded as the property of the state. Side: I Admit It
