As it was during the time of Noah (corruption and violence filled the Earth) ... SO SHALL IT BE when the Son of Man (Jesus) returns .... http://dadmansabode.com/CCF/OFF-SITE/ 2

Yes, corruption and violence have been with us, seemingly, forever. The corruption, then as now, started at the top. The politicians, Kings, Pharo's, Princes and Sheriffs, etc. all had the power over the people, and, when the people got pissed off they "punished" them. None of the leaders of the corruption and violence got punished then either ... especially if the lower corrupters paid homage to the upper corrupters! Enter a "loving god", who, allegedly, said YOU ALL DIE, innocent or not ... except for a handful of my "chosen ones"., That'll teach ya! (Including all the innocent animals, apparently ;-) Nice guy! Now, again, we have tremendous corruption at the top, and this "Christian" seems to be kind'a hoping that this "loving God" kills everybody off again ... whereby HE is certain HE'LL go to a better place. One who wishes for the deaths of millions of innocent people, under ANY circumstances .... is evil to MY mind, and so is the cause of the death. Ya know...... If this "savior" would just show up, as allegedly "promised", he/it could STOP all this crap, beginning with the corruption at the TOP, and SAVE lives! But, after 2000+ years he/it's a no-show! DAMN! I would LOVE to have a JUST GOD to believe in! I just couldn't put up with a genocidal one! MLK said something like ....... "Violence is not the presence of evil, it's the absence of justice!" |
Welcome to CreateDebate
CreateDebate is a social debate community built around ideas, discussion and democracy. If this is your first time checking out a debate, here are some quick tips to help get you started:
- Arguments with the highest score are displayed first. Argument replies (both in favor and in opposition) are displayed below the original argument. To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
- To vote for an argument, use these icons: You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument. Once you vote, the icon will become grayed out and the argument's score will change. Yes, you can change your vote.
- Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account. All scores are updated in real-time. To learn more about the CreateDebate scoring system, check out the FAQ.
- When you are ready to voice your opinion, use the Add Argument button to create an argument. If you would like to address an existing argument, use the Support and Dispute link within that argument to create a new reply.
