Harry Potter did not base it's entire plot on overused teenage cliches. It was about a boy moving on past a childhood of misfortune and neglect as he slowly devopled into a man of his own with a new family and a greater understanding of what his parents were like.

I just don't like twilight, they fooled me in the 1st one into thinking it was about vampires when it's actually about love.

I hear the latest movie has an epic fight scene and the emo girl is finally a vampire but I feel if i watched it i'd be missing so much from the 1st ones and I am still upset about the lies that were sold to me in the 1st one.

Harry Potter all the way. Not only are the books written 5000x more better, but the message sent by the Harry Potter series is actually a good one about love and friendship... Not about having the worlds most obnoxious crush and sexual relations with a vampire. Ew.

Edward can run fast and sparkle. Harry can just cast a spell to open a black hole and destroy everything. Harry also has more spells and tricks than Edward or Jacob or Bella......omg and Bella is like the first girl to have no emotion of pleasure. Not a smile. I don't hate Twilight. It's not terrible. There are some cheesy, unrealistic aspects to it, but there are also some cute aspects. And, this wasn't written as a cliche, overexposed topic. No one really talked about it until Twilight came out. Twilight is what caused it to become a cliche.

However, Harry Potter has a complex storyline. Twilight is basically a love story. Harry Potter is about a kid who's had a rough life finding his place. He goes on amazing adventures, makes amazing friends, and there are a few love stories. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, very emotionally invested.

I don't have anything against Twilight, but I think Harry Potter has more to it. I also think the acting is better in Harry Potter. Everyone in Twilight is pretty emotionless.

"Twilight" was boring to me. "Harry Potter" brought back the innocence of childhood back to me.
