Has the President Become too Powerful?

Do you believe that the executive branch of Government has become too powerful, and has thrown the three branches out of balance?  Do you think that at times many presidents have Overstepped the rights, privileges, and powers guaranteed to them by the constitution?  Please share your opinion.

Yes with a caveat: It's not so much that the president has too much power, it's that the previous administration took the Nixon philosophy on presidential powers: "When the president does it that means that it is not illegal." Hopeful Obama should usher in a return to normalcy. Winners win, polcap high now, et al.

I think the entire Government is too power.

Legislative, Judicial and Executive. We need to start trimming these guys, because they are just doing way too much shit that isn't necessary.
