Well, I'm a little confused about this for or against? Are we to side for or against Palestinian statehood or for or against the Obama administrations reaction to the possibility? Anywho, if Rice's comments are the opinion of the administration (and not just taken out of context, or she misspoke, etc) that's very interesting... it sounds like they are setting the stage to blame anyone else but themselves no matter what happens in September. As for the statehood vote... I still don't understand how both Gaza and the West Bank can be recognized as a sovereign nation when the two are being governed by completely different authorities? Yes, I agree...it was confusing. And just as I boarded a plane and couldn't fix it until now. I just clarified it now...if you posted without this clarification, please post on the side you feel is appropriate for your argument and report the other one as spam. I will delete it for you. How interesting, if the Obama Administration doesn't allow Palestine to be recognized... it's still, somehow, the Republicans' fault. The UN is a joke. To suggest that we shouldn't allow a country to be come a part of the UN is really just showing how serious these people take the UN... this is unfortunate. Let Palestine think they have a voice. Stop treating the UN like it's a real, driving force in International Affairs (unless you mean the driving force of UN aid-workers' dicks into non-consenting women and children in Africa... zing).
