And as far as I know in America police typically let people smoking pot recreationally go, or just give them a warning. Same thing I've heard in the UK from friends of mine that have been caught.
I agree that putting pot smokers in jail is pretty shitty, and I'm not a fan of the whole war on drugs thing, but you're exaggerating.
And I think heroin is a lot more dangerous. I think it's a bit disgusting to have people like this advocating for people to get into heroin. I also don't like this modern fascination with mere hedonism. I think it will leave many unfulfilled and unhappy. Well, he did run out of options in the legal arena. So he did what he always does and held a big rally with tens of thousands of people according to USA Today.
