I am so sick of seeing this commercial already, that I went onto FB just to find her fan page and let her know how frickin gay she is. I never use the term, but I will make a special effort to do so more often now. I was also hoping she already had some fb pages like "Hillary Duff is so gay" so I could like them. I have no time to waste in making one myself, but I would gladly like the page to show I do not support this douchebag chick. I don't think most people are being intentionally homophobic when they use the word "gay" to mean stupid or lame. It's just that gay now has its own meaning separate of the original meaning, homosexual. This is probably because calling something gay comes from a time when it was more socially acceptable to be homophobic. All one needs to do is look at the tags Pyggy has posted. It's either STFU you bitch or Aw, How PC! It means that for him, there are no other alternatives! It's high time someone put out a PSA on this particular type of Gay-bashing. They tried to make it seem legit because "everyone says it." I've had this conversation with Pyggy before but to no avail. He, along with most people can't be bothered to recognize the prejudice of the statement. Whatever is termed as being gay is not a compliment and that is certain.
