Hitler, Marx, and Capitalism

We are socialists, we are enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions.

I honestly don't know how many times it needs to be explained. Hitler paid lip service to the left because Europe was in the middle of a Communist revolution and the German left had massive political power which Hitler could not win an election without. Trump did exactly the same thing, talking about "draining the swamp" etc... How many times are fascist politicians going to pull this trick off before people learn the difference between rhetoric and reality?

Plus Hitler never even said that. It's getting boring dealing with the right wing swine of CD. Come to DA Nom, at least there are new idiots to debunk there.

Our fight is with money. Work alone will help us, not money. We must smash interest slavery. Our fight is with the races that represent money.

No. Paying lip service to the left in an attempt to win their votes and obtain total power in Germany is not "proof the people wearing Nazi helmets were leftists". What is proven by your comment and indeed this very thread is that you are a dangerously insane right wing psychopath who is following in the footsteps of Joseph Goebbels himself. You are very literally arguing against settled history for no other reason than political partisanship, which makes you a moron. See:-

The Nazi Party (English: /ˈnɑːtsi, ˈnætsi/),[5] was a far-right political party in Germany that was active between 1920 and 1945

You are a liar and an obnoxiously stupid far right troll whose own insanity prevents him from reasonable discussions of any variety.

Luckily, Suresh Naidu, the kick-ass economist at Columbia, supplied me with the following graphs.

This first one, which comes from Thomas Piketty’s Capital in the Twenty-First Century, compares the share of national income that went to capital in the US and in Germany between 1929 and 1938. Suresh tells me that the share roughly tracks capital’s rate of return.

Long story short: capital was doing better under the Nazis than under FDR. Not because of overall increases in economic performance in one country versus another, but because of the economic policies of the regime.

I have people calling ME a socialist. I am NOT.

Today, on the news, I listened to several millionaires. Members of an organization with the motto "Tax the Rich". Capitalists (200 of them), that have made millions but don't like the way the U.S. is going … the way capitalism is going, the way democracy is going! They KNOW it is out of control, they SEE it is headed toward an oligarchy. They KNOW that with the "normal people" (their word, not mine), paying all (or most) of the taxes, America is in peril! That's exactly where I am! Capitalism is great … as long as it is fair and controlled, somewhat, like it was when America WAS great, 30/40 years ago! Socialism HELPED then, it can HELP NOW! Without democracy NEITHER are any good! We need all three to MAGA! Capitalism OR socialism under Hitler OR Marx would make an unworkable world … in different directions! We can NOT afford to lose our democracy! :-)

They love the way it's going. They have unbelievable power and money that they never relinquish. You don't keep stuffing yourself with cake if you actually hate cake. You might say cake is bad, but you keep gobbling it down because you actually love cake and have no plan of stopping.

You are correct. They DO love the way it's going …. for them. What they DO NOT like, is the way it is going for the COUNTRY. THEY want to PAY MORE TAXES! They just want to know it's going where it's needed, NOT into a stupid wall OR into the pockets of OTHER millionaires or billionaires, but to education, health care, infrastructure that will keep the country STABLE and, as you said, allow them to make MORE! That's MY kind of millionaire, the "democratic capitalist" kind! Americans for America, not for themselves! :-)
