Hold Constitutional Conventions regularly.
Thomas Jefferson wanted to rewrite the Constitution every 19 years. To not do so, he argued, was to be enslaved by the previous generation. While I do not argue for a full rewrite, and I think 19 years is maybe too frequent, I think their may be wisdom in assessing, discussing and potentially changing parts of the Constitution every thirty years or so. What say you?
