Of course it's good. It's important to actually practice some math problems when you learn a new concept. Or practice reading in another language. Practice is good. Homework is the opportunity to test for understanding immediately following a lesson. It's bad when teachers assign homework that qualifies as busy work, but on the whole homework is a very good thing. It's also good to get into good habits of time management before adulthood. I agree that practicing is a good thing and it probably helps you learn but when homework(which it most often is) is just finishing masses of stuff at home because the stupid curriculum doesn't give you enough time in school and is very stressful and doesn't allow you to do healthy things like exercise and having a good time with friends (which they are always telling you to do) it is a very bad thing Side: Bad
