I have yet to see a pathogen that makes you become homosexual

I don't see it as a disease personally, I don't think it is a sickness, homosexuality is perfectly healthy for homosexuals. I don't think it harms the one whom is homosexual. I think if anything is a disease, the psychological state of feeling as though you must repress that is in and of itself a disorder therefore in my book, closer to a disease.

If homosexuality is a disease it would hinder your natural life. If homosexuality is a disease life itself is a disease.

No it is not and as Q said it does not affect or shorten someones life in a bad way, Homophobia is more like a disease all that pent up anger about what other people might be doing has gotta shorten your life and at its extreme Homophobia has led to the death and ruination of many Homosexuals

It's not a disease, but it is abnormal mental difference. I say abnormal because homosexuality is not a normal experience for the majority of the human population in general, and by that logic, one could go so far as to call it a disorder, along the same lines as ADHD, or OCD, pedophilia, etc.

Homosexuality is not a disease. It is the norm for our contemporary society. Hate is a disease.
