How can you deny that America is fundamentally corrupt?

Almost the entire world is corrupt with some of the more powerful using what power they can for advantage. The US and most of the west feel as did other societies for centuries...might makes right. Yes, I grew up thinking that America was a successful exception to the corrupt world. [She] instead is under the control of elites who simply do not care for democracy and want monolithic power, use their power. Yes...the world is doomed to a one world, capitalist fascism. Look how fast both Russia and China have become just that. 1

Find me a country that ISN'T and I'll gladly move there! 'Thing is, if a country has a reasonable space between the have's and the have not's, it can better handle the corruption! Once "THE FEW" get control of the money, the power, the politics (Like Russia, China, the UAE), you're pretty much screwed. Where would YOU rather go??? 1

"Everybody " in the U.S. is NOT corrupt. Those that ARE, the most, are those that are SUPPOSED to "MAGA"! I DO worry about my own country. That's why I want Trump "out'a there" while we still have a FEW that aren't! I say again, "Where would you recommend?" Another question, should we just walk away and let these corrupt scumbags take over without a fight?? Saying "I give up without a fight" isn't the way I've done things in the past. You??? Definitely not what will MAGA! I'm pretty much out of the "fight game" but, I'M not giving up on democracy. Especially not to Trump and his buddy Putin! Killing your enemies and those of your allies doesn't make a nation corrupt. Making a genuine effort to slow the proliferation of nuclear weapons by engaging with you antagonists and adversaries, past and present, doesn't make a nation nor its leaders corrupt. Quite the opposite. America is a strong and internationally respected nation which carries a lot of clout and can therefore influence world events for the better. President Trump is the ideal leader to use American might to gently guide other more belligerent countries away from the brink annihilating large areas of the planet. 2

Killing your enemies and those of your allies doesn't make a nation corrupt. Making up your own definition of corruption which you then use as a straw man argument to debunk the idea that America is corrupt, IS corrupt. Making a genuine effort to slow the proliferation of nuclear weapons Are you actually kidding us with this? Donald Trump to Withdraw U.S. from Nuclear Weapons Treaty http://time.com/5430388/ 1

AlofRI. That's ONE. The U.S. isn't "fundamentally corrupt" It IS, like many nations, corrupted by fundamentalists (and losing ground, at the moment). Its "leader" IS "fundamentally corrupt" (emphasis on "mentally"), as well as morally and ethically, so losing ground at this time can be expected. That doesn't mean all is lost. The fascists and oligarchs on the right that think we should have a "small" (more easily and cheaply controlled by those with the money (power)), and a majority white supremacy making all the rules would make U.S. "fundamentally corrupt". We CAN agree on that, but only if we have our eyes open. We are now in the process of ridding the country of the fundamentally corrupt that are currently occupying the White House and surrounding swamp, also the coven of witches and warlocks stirring the caldron you've been drinking from. Wish U.S. luck! ;-) |
