Doubt it. I don't see any problem with the music now a days. It's just not "music" to older generations, but their music isn't "music" to a lot of our generation.

It's just something to party to, chill to, etc etc.

the thing is yes it brings people together but hip hop rap and dubstep are not music music requires talent in which you need none in any of the three except certain types of hip hop but in other words dont consider rap or dubstep music

Much like any other generation's music affected them. Every generation, honestly, has had a new craze to love.

20s - swing

30s - jazz

40s - pop/jazz standards

50s - rock and roll

60s - folk music/protest/anti-establishment

70s - disco

80s - electronica

90s - rap/hip hop

00s - more rap/hip hop and dubstep

This music affects this generation as any generation has been affected by music before: positively.

This music affects this generation as any generation has been affected by music before: positively.

What positive affects would you be talking about?

I'm not talking about the content of the music, per say. I'm talking about the bringing together of a generation that all music has done throughout the 20th century. Modern music links millions of kids and teenagers across America together in a way no other medium can, and for this reason, I think its effect is a positive one.

Children like today's music and you can see them dancing around to Beyonce.
