According to sportsbook.com, the Nationals are expected to finish at the bottom of the NL East with a 73-89 record.
Supporting Evidence: Odds of winning World Series is set at 100-1 (www.betfirms.com)

There are 30 teams so 100-1 isn't that bad. I wouldn't be surprised if they end the season above .500.

I hope they win a bunch...I can't wait to check out the new ballpark.

Thanks for posting the video. I took my kids to the park on opening night, and I think it's going to be great.

I think the Nats are going to have a great season. A new stadium, lots of buzz in the press, and a talented young core could enable the Nats to take the NL East by surprise.

I'd say no more than 85.

With the baseball season being so long, it's always hard to tell where each team will sit at the end of each season. One thing is always true in baseball - the weaker teams will be weeded out and the strong will survive. This is why, as an Orioles fan, I never get excited about the start of the season. The O's always start hot but the stronger teams in the AL east eventually take over. Since the Nats are sitting at 4-10 this year, we can't write them off already but I think they are still too young of a team to outperform the other teams in their division. I do think, however, that the Nats will be a powerhouse within 5 years. They new state of the art stadium will bring tons of people and tons of money. Having the new team and new stadium surrounded by so much money and power can only bring good things. So don't be surprised in 5 years when the Nats are at the top of their division outspending most of the teams in the MLB.
