Look at the facts when almost half of the Democrat voters supported Sanders. Those that voted for the likes of Obama and now Hillary, do so because these are pure Liberal politicians who have been blatantly pushing this nation in the socialistic direction for decades.

Obama admitted he wanted to transform America into something that resembles socialist Europe. These extremist politicians always want BIGGER GOVERNMENT and the Democrat voters want the same on the backs of tax payers. THIS IS SOCIALISM!

That actually isn't socialism. Socialism involves making private companies run by the public.

You can not punish hard work and success while rewarding laziness and irresponsibility. Doing so only creates more Government dependents and pushes more businesses off shore to more tax friendly places.

You know how there are certain branches of Christianity that you disagree with? That you probably don't consider to be true Christians? Its like that with socialism too. Marxist socialism is an idealistic philosophy that has never been practiced on a large scale, and most likely never can be. The socialism associated with "Communism", which is what you are probably referring to, is not being proposed by anyone in America, at least nobody that counts. Democratic Socialism, which is what Sanders supports has less to do with failed states like the Soviet Union, and more to do with very successful nations such as the Nordic countries, Germany, Netherlands, etc. ALSO, not all Democrats support even Democratic Socialism. In fact, for now at least, the majority do not.

Considering the various nations of Europe exceed us in countless categories, and most of the Capitalist countries in the world are the various poor nations of Africa, doesn't sound like a bad idea to me. Or to anybody who cares about facts over ideology.

First, supporters of Democratic Socialism are only talking about using socialism to cover a handful of industries. Mostly healthcare and education, both of which we are currently doing very poorly at. And yeah, there are entitlement programs to help lift people up out of poverty. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that if our middle class is bigger than the poverty class, our economy will be a lot healthier. And those taxes? If done right, a huge segment of the economy will actually have more money in pocket with the higher taxes than they would is they had massive student debt and ever increasing insurance rates. Thus, a better economy. Which is EXACTLY what happens in most of the countries practicing a form of democratic socialism.

Uh, no. There is only a few right now. Greece is a disaster, sure. And a few of the countries that used to be in USSR. There are plenty of reason for these countries failing. But there are plenty other European countries that have done reasonably well, considering the ENTIRE WORLD was in an economic crisis for about a decade.

Yeah, we don't get it because what you are talking about is much less likely to happen under our system. Ask Europe. Or, even better, check out the deep south. Home of the most conservative states since the 60s or 70s. Poverty. High unemployment. High crime. Low education. Crappy healthcare. We get it, Saintnow.

The benefits of capitalism are many and wondrous. But it can't solve every problem. That is why a mixed economic system is much better.
