Why do you need more than 7 shots in a clip? Deer usually don't give you more than one shot. I have a gun with 30 rounds in a clip. If it makes us safer I would be willing to give it up. It just means I have to reload more often when target shooting. No big deal. Of course they would target clip size and not just assault weapons because legal assault weapons are basically semi automatic hunting rifles with shorter barrels, bigger clips and places to attach accessories. Who cares if assault weapons are banned when I can still buy a semi automatic hunting rifle with a 30 round clip? Why is it such a big deal that we make these kinds of restrictions? 0

LOL, tell me why the Democrat party does not admit what it is after? Tell me why they always say ASSAULT RIFLES!!!!!! Why don't they say we will make you a criminal if you do not turn in your hunting rifles that hold more than seven rounds? Who said these guns were only for hunting? If an intruder walks into my house and we get into a gun fight, I could run out of seven shots in a couple seconds when firing so quickly in fear for my life. He will have the illegal guns that have been changed to allow more rounds of ammunition. Why are democrats so in favor of helping the criminal and making it harder for law abiding citizens to protect themselves. We all know the answer to that question. You do know that armed home invasions are pretty much unheard of right? What happens 1000x more is your moody teenager finds the gun and decides to go on a rampage and kill the whole family.
