Oh yes, I omitted a few of the more obvious and arguably the most important of the white man's inventions, namely the THE COMPUTER,( which you're currently using) THE INTERNET, ( which you're also using right now), AND THE LANGUAGE IN WHICH YOU'RE TRYING TO COMMUNICATE.. Non-"white" people invented: language, art, music, arithmetic, geometry, tool use/creation, architecture, hunting, animal domestication, farming, astronomy, etc. - I mean this could go on indefinitely. There are black astronauts and white-trash criminals and everything in-between. Stop attaching to some group so you can take credit for the inventions of others, and try inventing something yourself. So called 'Social Justice' is determined by merit over achievement. Due to racial and religious anti discrimination laws the populations of America and most western nations all enjoy the benefits of equality of opportunity. The one thing which no amount of legislation can influence is equality of achievement. Asians and whites seem to prosper uniformly in the nations of equal-opportunity but blacks appear to fall behind on the achievement front. The resentment which black's seem to harbour is based on their inability to recognize their own short comings which they wrongly attribute to discrimination. Also, the beggar hates his benefactor almost as much as he hates himself for begging. Opportunity is all too often missed by blacks as to them this well established feature of western society is dressed in overalls and looks too much like hard work. Where are the job creating multi-national corporations founded and managed by blacks? Why do you think that blacks do not feature in the inventions and discoveries which go to make up the modern world? These include, Electricity, The light bulb, Radio, Television, The camera, The internal combustion engine, The diesel engine, The jet engine, The automobile, The locomotive, The aeroplane, Space going rockets, High yield farming techniques, Penicillin/antibiotics, Modern surgical operating procedures including anesthetics, Most life saving and pain relieving drugs, The petrochemical industry and its derivatives such as the enormous range of plastic products. For many decades I've observed, with growing contempt the begging bowls of the backward African nations always pointing west? When will we learn that charity addresses the symptoms and not the cause. A disproportionate number of the world's black people have a congenial aversion to formal education and work and lack the entrepreneurial skills necessary to contribute positively to the societies in which they live. HOW CAN THE EXISTENCE OF, SO CALLED, SOCIAL JUSTICE OVERCOME THESE SELF EVIDENT TRUTHS? Side: SJW
Why do you think that blacks do not feature in the inventions and discoveries which go to make up the modern world? Well, that one is easy. Because you ignore everything which was invented by coloured people. Inventions like maps, the calendar, toothpaste, the wheel, algebra, the written word, paper, clocks, coffee, cameras, universities, surgery and countless other things. You think that by omitting to mention everything and/or anything invented by people of colour you can somehow convince people that whites are the only race which have ever moved technology forward. I didn't use the term coloured people I specifically and accurately directed my comments towards blacks. The invention of the camera is attributed jointly to Johann Zahn and Joseph Nicephore both of whom were white. Maps were invented by the Greeks, who were/are white with Anaximander being attributed as having produced the first atlas. Tooth paste was invented by William Nebergall, a white American. The fist calendar was produced around 46 B.C. by Julius Caesar who was white. It is globally accepted that the founding father of surgery was Sushruta, an Asian from India, not black. Maybe, just maybe the blacks invented the wheel, but it was the clever whites who invented the other three, L.O.L. Nice try but your misinformation failed miserably. Here are a few other inventions to which blacks contributed nil ;- Navigational aides such as the sexton, The telescope, Binoculars, The submarine, The splitting of the atom; nuclear power, Radar, Sonar, The metric system, Modern civil engineering techniques and materials such as sky scrappers, Sanitation Hygiene and hygienic practices, Inoculation/vaccination against a range of deadly diseases such as polio, measles, smallpox etc., Pioneering space exploration. The list is endless and all the black ,man can do is look on awesomely at the wonders invented/discovered by the white man. Side: SJW
