Humans Too Stupid For Democracy

Ha! Most governments throughout human history were/are dictatorships. And if you look at the left, if some guy came in saying we should censor the creator of the vaccine, only have white mascots, shouldn't have black people on grocery goods, and that we should have blacks only dorms and graduations, they'd right on board, eh Con? dupedupedupedupedupedupedupedupedupedup Most people need direction and will take heed of those who can present their ideology most persuasively, regardless of its implications. In many ways, and in almost all democratic countries we have sort of two-way-split dictatorship. By this I mean that most electorates don't bother to examine the manifesto of THEIR PARTY and the statutes they intend to introduce if elected. Even though Joseph Stalin slaughtered some 9 million Russians in his futile bid to try to make communism work 100s 0f 1000s of working class Russians filed past his dead body wailing and sobbing at the death of one of the biggest murderers in the history of mankind. Such scenes of misplaced loyalties bear witness to the mindlessness of the average citizen and why their vote/opinion is not only meaningless but can be a hindrance to the advancement of their county. People who can't, or cannot be bothered to critically study the policies of those standing for political office will just run with the the guy who has the loudest booming voice and knows what the sheepeople want to hear. Of course what they'll hear, and what they'll get will be two very different things. 1

Well, thanks for that, but it's people like you with open minds who challenge the status quo and look for something better who will sooner or later create an improved political system that will benefit everyone. MAYBE the concept of one man-one vote needs to be examined. MAYBE those who contribute more to the prosperity and welfare of the societies in which they live should have a vote-plus allocation. MAYBE those with criminal records should be in the vote minus category. I'm not saying that any of the aforementioned amendments should be implemented. They were just introduced by way of demonstrating how democracy could be modernized, or totally replaced. |
