I am Proud to be an Arab so i can understand what they are saying
I argue/debate over youtube.
The video was a "Beyond Two Souls Walkthrough" video game and apparantly some characters speak Arab.
I read a comment saying "I am proud to be an Arab so i can understand what they are saying."
Someone replied saying "So you because you proud of being an Arab, you can suddenly understand the language?" <--- This user got down voted on youtube but i agree with him. It doesn't make sense.
However, more than one user says it makes sense.
Does that sentence make sense? "So" means "and for this reason." Therefore, the person is saying basically that because he is proud of being an arab, he can understand the language. That makes no sense. Does it?
