I had a waitress scold me for wanting white bread. She said Brown bread is better for me.

This is the mentality of Liberal control freaks who must always push their so called enlightened politically correct thinking on all people.

They of course have no problem pushing alcohol down every person's throats even though it is much worse for your health then white bread.

As with all Liberal hypocrisy, it is only their version of political correctness that will be pushed on people. They hate guns, white bread, etc. etc. but when it comes to alcohol, that they enjoy and that kills so many? They have no problem tempting you with it.

I will take things that never happened for $600, Alex.

Turns out I was fucking right.

"After i asked for white bread, she told me they did not have any and that I should eat their brown bread because it was better for me.

She finally told me she would try and find some white bread after I told her I did not like brown bread and I wanted to ENJOY my meal."

There was no scolding. The waitress tried to convince him to eat the food they had instead of food they didn't have. What a fucking idiot.

First of all, how strange is it that he had mega-blocks in place for such a lame topic? Do you really need to shut out discussion on a waitress encounter? No, of course not.

Second, I agree it is unprofessional for a food service worker to comment on the food choices a client is making, unless it's simply about food specials or things that pair well together, etc.

Third, way way back in high school I had a little food service experience as a part time job, and I've always known people in the industry, and from what I've seen most of the time if there are sparks between a customer and the server it's because that customer is a bit of a d!ck. Who here would find it hard to believe that FromWithin would be an annoying customer at a restaurant? Anyone?

Fourth, this discussion has zero to do with liberal vs conservative. This is cranky old white man vs some poor lady who had to serve the said cranky old white man.

Finally, fifth, she's actually right you know. Brown (or whole wheat / multigrain) bread is far better for you than white.

In his debate he gives no explanation as to how she "scolded" him, other than she just mentioned that brown bread was better. In fact from his example it sounds like she either was lazy, didn't think they actually had white bread anymore, or was trying to get rid of some brown bread by upselling it, a common tactic in sales. It sounds like he had a snowflake moment and wants to be a victim, plus....unless that lady has a label on her name tag saying "HI I'm a Liberal" I seriously doubt he really knows her affiliation.

All true, except unless she were a brash outspoken card carrying conservative like himself she would automatically qualify as a "liberal" by his definition.

Hello From:

Did you ask her if she's had an abortion??? Did you call her nasty names if she did???

excon

You should ask for one white, one brown, roll them into a ball together, and hand em back to her.

Nevermind all that. What was the waitress wearing? Was it shorty shorts? Tell me it was shorty shorts.

"I was not trying to play a victim. I was showing another example of left wing political correctness infiltrating every aspect of our lives." -FromWithin

What a delusional piece of shit. The guy comes on here to be the victim, then claims that's not what he was trying to do. The guy thinks he is being oppressed because he was offered a healthy option.
