The Zeitgeist films were some of the best documentaries ever made. They represent the golden period of the internet, where you could speak freely and put forward new ideas. Unfortunately, it's all changing. Power is becoming more centralised, with large sites taking control over much of the traffic and censoring certain ideas. If it continues in the same direction it won't be long before the internet becomes just another extension of mainstream media. 2

@Nom Yeah that's one of the things Peter said in zeitgeist funnily enough. Remember that part when he talked about how we must protect the internet because it allows for the free exchange of ideas? I actually told her about you too, it was at the part where he talks about 9/11 and I was surprised how open she was to the idea that it was an inside job. I told her about the article you wrote and at some time I want to show that to her. 1
