The idea that God would bless one individual nation, founded upon mass murder, genocide and slavery, over other nations is downright horrifying.

America sprang up from a thirst for freedom of religion where one could be free to follow his faith or lack there of with no Government clamping down on your personal liberties.

Sure.

The simple moral values derived from our majority Christian heritage fueled the greatest nation on Earth. Values such as hard work, responsible living, caring for others, helping your neighbor(not by big Government redistribution), respecting all innocent life, etc.

Sure some of the founders were christians but they made it pretty explicitly clear that we are a secular nation with a secular government.

It's been a work in process but with a moral foundation built on Christian principles, we ended slavery, we came together as a people and built the greatest nation on the planet.

Wrong. This nation was not built on christian principles. If it was then 5 out of the 10 commandments would be laws that currently are not laws. Also, christianity made one of the biggest arguments FOR slavery. They argued in the south that it was gods will that black people be enslaved.

Then as with most things, when we've acheived the American dream of prosperity and the good life, what happens? People become complacent. They become spoiled and take for granted all the hard work and personal responsibility it took to get to this place in history.

People today are working harder than ever before for less money than ever before. Nobody is complacent. Nobody is lazy.

Their priorities change...... what once was love of family being their main motivation in life, became love of money and the fun derived from that money. Children became burdens that some even discard in dumpsters as the abortion movement cheapened the value of a life.

You mean like the republican party that basically sold out to big money interests and now actively fights against the best interest of the middle class and poor? And yes, abortions NEVER occured before we legalized it. They never happened and if they ever did they were perfectly safe unlike now. ITs totally not that they were more prevalent and dangerous, no certainly not.

Our priorities today? Having the latest and greatest cell phone regardless if you are living off the sweat of tax payers. Having two cars in the driveway and then claiming you need more help and subsidies from tax payers. What is considered poverty today would have been the good life a hundred years ago.

What about the actual people who have no phone, no car, and 3 jobs and still cant get by?

People living on welfare have no clue what true hardship is.

Most people on welfare have college degrees and jobs. Thats a fact. So...yeah i think they fucking do know what hardship is.

They demand we give them food stamps to shop in wonderful grocery stores

Yeah god forbid hungry people in the richest nation on earth expect to get FOOD.

and would scream if we expected able bodied people to stand in a food bank line. This is the microwave culture where people are so spoiled and never appreciate what hard working Americans are giving them.They expect the good life without working hard for it.

Except we know the majority of people ARE working hard and ARE doing everything they can and are STILL unable to get by. Sure there may be a very small minority who are exploiting the system, but if the vast majority are doing everything they can and still cant make it then isnt it worth helping them? Youre pushing this myth of the lazy welfare recipient that just doesnt exist.

This selfish spoiled mentality has risen from a Progressive movement in the Democrat party that shouts out how you are entitled to other's money and how they will redistribute the money to buy your votes.

This is what it has come to in this nation.

1% of the WORLD population. In fact, LESS than 1%. 62 individuals own over 50% of the ENTIRE WORLD's WEALTH. And that doesnt seem like a fucking problem to you? That doesnt seem like someting that needs to be redistibuted? Youre the ones who jack off to "balancing the budget" and "fiscal responsibility" yet youre totally fine with the richest americans hoarding WAY more money than anyone could ever need at the detriment of the entire economy. You wanna talk about welfare exploitation? The walton family who owns the biggest store chain in the US with 100s of billions of dollars in profits receives MILLIONS of dollars in welfare. They recieve it to support their working force whom they pay NOTHING.

Just today I saw on the news that we are now officially 19 TRILLION in debt and to hear the Democrats talk, money still grows on trees.

But we never talk about the entire republican party who pushed for the war in iraq that caused such a massive debt to be racked up. God forbid we talk about funding food stamps and education instead of dropping bombs in the desert.

We are headed to bankruptcy and chaos in the streets if this nation does not wake up and get back to lifting up the conservative Christian values that created the greatest nation on earth.

Were headed to bankruptcy because of too much deregulation on wallstreet and not enough reform following the 2008 crash. when the economy collapses, which it will, it wont be because 10% of our budget got spent on food stamps and papa's social security check. It will be because we didnt regulate big business and it used fraud to run the economy into the ground.

I would have to agree that America is blessed by god. But now were being punished by him for our sinful behavior. America needs to come back to God in order to be great again.
