No matter how hard anyone believes whatever they believe, and no matter how many people agree with it, reality will not budge. Reality is, in the most absolute form, undeniable, irrefutable and indestructible. No deniable, refutable and destructible fantasy can ever prevail in such a clash. Side: Reality because it's real

I agree. If only we could get the liberals/democrats and some Republicans to accept that fact we would be far better off. For example, when a gov't program (take your pick) doesn't deliver the intended results, they should acknowledge it and make adjustments, or kill it rather than claim they need more funding. The latter seems to be the catch-all excuse for lack of results. Side: Reality because it's real

I'm further left than Liberal and the lack of transparency and accountability for government programs is the primary reason why I don't vote Democratic, and why I don't currently advocate for policies in line with my ideology. That said, it's important to recognize both sides of this. If a program doesn't work, it needs to be legitimately examined and fixed, rather than either being immediately scrapped/knee capped, or being inflated with funds that don't fix the actual problem.
