If America continued imperialism, is there a chance a worldwide war would start?

Imperialism- a policy of extending a country's influence to other countries by diplomacy or military force.

Would a new war start if America continued it?

Americas continued imperialism could easily set off the next world war, we are living in a very uncertain time, the west gets one very specific and polarized set of views through their media, the fact is the truth is very different from the reported truth. We are led to beleive that countries such as Iran are the big danger to world security, the hypocrisy of this cannot be put into words.

We have been told in the media that other arab countries are worried about Iran, that other arab countries support US and western policy towards, this is simply false what they should have said were the western backed dictators support that policy towards Iran i.e. (please take the time to read the following excerpt)

"The Brookings Institute just a few months ago released extensive polls of what Arabs think about Iran. And the results are rather striking. They show that Arab opinion does—holds that the major threat in the region is Israel, that’s 80 percent; the second major threat is the United States, that’s 77 percent. Iran is listed as a threat by 10 percent. With regard to nuclear weapons, rather remarkably, a majority, in fact, 57 percent, say that the region will be—it would have a positive effect in the region if Iran had nuclear weapons........What that reveals is the profound hatred for democracy on the part of our political leadership and, of course, the Israeli political leadership. These things aren’t even to be mentioned. And this seeps its way all through the diplomatic service............Compared to the vast sums of money devoted to military expenditures in the United States, Iran spends but a minute fraction. Iran has not invaded another nation for centuries, and there is no credible evidence to suggest that they have any intention of doing so in the near future. While I disagree with the theocratic nature of the Iranian government, I find the notion of Iran posing a grave danger to us or anyone else to be highly laughable. If Iran is actively seeking nuclear weapons – which I sincerely doubt – they would certainly be justified in doing so, given the success that North Korea has had in deterring U.S. aggression.................The latest batch from Wikileaks has thus far revealed a great deal about the way that American power operates throughout the world. Given the disdain that our officials appear to have for the concerns of ordinary people, it is not surprising that elites around the nation – as well as their elected representatives – have raised such a stir. The cables reveal just a little bit more of reality than our overlords would care for us to see, and the prospect of an awakened populace is, for them, unfathomable"

This runs contrary to everything reported, people aren't being allowed access to the truth, its a simple as that, and thats always going to be a dangerous with regard to war.

With regard to current wars (i.e. Afghanistan and Iraq, and Libya) the most volatile of all of these is Afghanistan, people are really underestimating how dangerous US action in that country is becoming, i setup a debat recently on the drone attacks that are massacring civilian in large numbers of civilians which was left idle probably because nobody wants to defend this action, this year alone over 1000 civilians have been blown to smidereens by US drones with zero accountability, Pakistan is at bioling point, and very few americans realise it. Please take the time to listen to the following interview with Hamid Gul, former chief of Pakistan's Intelligence, he even admits towards the end of the interview a further exapnsion of operations will set off WW3 i.e. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MH8WUHjo1ms

What the hell are you talking about?

We're already still imperialist! You think we aren't still imperialist?

No, we aren't running around claiming colonies of other peoples, but that's not the only side of imperialism.

Every day we are spreading our influence as much as we possibly can in a non-violent manner so that we may hold as much influence over the world as we possibly can.

And as you can see, we're still a world power. We wouldn't win a war with everyone vs. us, but we're always, slowly, trying to change that.

But wait... wait... there hasn't been a 3rd World War yet... has there? Goodness me. There hasn't. There... hasn't...

... Durp.

Just because we fuck up like other human beings doesn't mean we don't try our hardest to do good. Because we do.
