Great Britain. However, I fail to see the logic posed in the debate title. The debate proposer seems to argue that if no other country on Earth is considered the greatest nation then by default it must be the USA, could someone please explain why as I for one do not see why I should compare my nation's greatness to America's low standard. Lol I made the debate title in hopes that it would bring all of the Anti-American Brits over here. I like when the arguments get a little heated... so, fuck you! Just kidding, anyways... what makes your country so much better than ours? Your death rate (the UK's) is higher than ours, you're ranked 60th on the global scale, while we're ranked 89th. We have higher GDP. We're 2nd, you're 9th. We have a higher GDP growth rate and we have higher GDP per capita. We're 14th, you're 34th. We're right together at the unemployment rate, 94th and 95th... but you guys actually have a larger public debt than us, you're 19th and we're 35th. That's obviously mostly economy related, but we're actually pretty similar on a lot, so saying that your country is SO much better than ours is ridiculous. I understand having pride in your country though. Side: America is the greatest

Norway, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand etc. Countries that have a medium population, high GDP per capita, high stability, high life expectancy, good schools (comparitively) and so on. If its a battle over quality of life then America will lose hard to these sorts of countries. Side: ______ is the greatest

No one nation is better. You could say japan is best for they have the highest life expectancy, or that Lithuania is the best, as they have the highest GDP per capita. Or that Uruguay is the best because it has the happiest inhabitants, e.t.c. No one nation can be better than all the others. Apart from Haiti... Side: ______ is the greatest
