If Americans can't count on a right to abortion, why do they think gun ownership is safe?

Hello:

Stare decisis means “to stand by things decided” in Latin.  It's the doctrine that courts will adhere to precedent in making their decisions.   However, THIS Supreme Court, reversed course for one reason and one reason only - because the composition of the court has changed.

It’s one thing to overturn a long-standing opinion that is antediluvian and hugely unpopular with a large majority of the people. It’s quite another to overturn a constitutional right conferred decades before that is only opposed by a fanatical minority.  And, I think it'll cost 'em in the mid-terms.

I'm just saying, that if Roe could be decided based on politics, gun ownership could too..  I dunno WHY gun owners would take such a risk.  I guess they HATE abortion more than they LOVE their guns.

The right to own slaves used to be decided. Using your logic, we couldn't have freed them from the white Democrats. Killing gay people is decided in many Muslim countries. By your logic, that shouldn't be allowed to change in the future either.

There was a time before Roe Vs Wade, and we got it because the composition of the court changed. When Democrats get their way, they call it progress. When they don't, they want precedent. Nope. You can't have it both ways there bro.

I love how you pretend they did any more than let the states choose their action on abortion.

Now the baby has a Constitutional right. I guess you white, nimby liberals can't kill black babies anymore. That probably just kills your soul.

It's sad that you still believe polls and the media despite them admitting they make shit up for clicks when unknowingly being filmed.

If Americans can't count on a right to abortion

They can count on a right to have an abortion. The most Conservative Supreme Court in my lifetime voted to let liberals kill as many babies as they want and for Conservatives to not have to kill any. Ain't freedom great?

Hello:

Dude. FREEDOM would be getting your abortion wherever the hell you wanted to.. Being FORCED to travel to another state to get one is the OPPOSITE of freedom.

Dude!

Having my ability to defend myself taken away doesn't really feel like freedom yet you're all for it.

Having the right to not have sex is a freedom, and being murdered is the opposite of freedom there Orwell. Isn't it amazing how the baby itself is never mentioned in a liberal argument on abortion. It's body? Not mentioned. It's choice? Not mentioned. It being killed? Not mentioned. The right to not whore around? Not mentioned. Why is that?
