If China Becomes the World's Source of Power, will this be a Good Thing?

For centuries China has been the place that made all of the goods for all of the biggest companies because they can do it cheaper. Nevertheless recently they have risen and are making their own companies such a Mi-Ling which is predicted to be in the top five most successful companies in the world by the year 2018. Some schools are even beginning to teach Mandarin for they hope that it will be useful in the future. There is no doubt that the country with over one billion people in it is rising to be the largest, most powerful country in the world and that it is just a matter of time before the change occurs.

But is it a good thing for the rest of us?

Y would it be bad? Unless of'course if we fear a competition. As a consumer, I'd enjoy it. As a manufacturer, I'd work harder.

China exactly will become the World's superpower. Because, firstly, it is a large country with a big amount of sources. Secondly and mainly, Chinese peolple are brilliant at any work, they are the most workful people world knows. Thirdly, Chinese goods are widespreaded all over the world, we can find Chinese clothes or technics everywhere. although it's quolity is often diferent to Italian or Japan, they increase their economic power and develop more and more. So, it is a good idea to learn Chinese)

I think it would be good. China could easily produce cheap reliable power and it doesn't matter either way, ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) will be producing all the worlds power in 2020 if it works.

Side: Yes

Economically, it will be a powerhouse, militarily, it will not.

It's never a good thing when one country dominates the international stage and overshadows the rest, no matter what country it is.

Hell no. They mass produce waste (metaphorically and literally), and their immorality concerns me very much so. The Government has very little concept of what is right and what is wrong.

Side: No

I'd be fine with a capitalist country like South Korea becoming the World's Source of Power, but china is communist.

Side: No

they would become greedy and attack the united states of america

Side: No

I have a disdain for cheap products coming into America, so, I don't think it will be a good thing.
