If God is all Powerful

If Gos is all powerful why can't he just destroy satan? Why wait for the events in revalation to happen?

The reason why He doesn't just destroy Satan right now is because He is going to do it whenever His time is to come and defeat Satan. God could do it right now if He wanted to but He needs to fulfill the prophecies that are in the Bible to lead up to the event of defeating Satan.(All of the prophecies are fulfilled except the Christians need to be raptured) Also God's time is different from our time because God is focused on Heavenly Time.

Why is God bound by a man made book?

He promised in the Bible that He would comeback so He has to keep that promise.

God is focused on Heavenly Time.

Where in the bible does it say god is on Heavenly Time?

2 Peter 3:8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

In that verse he was talking about how it is in Heaven how 1000 years is like a day.

Because it doesnt make sense does it? Think about this, why would "god" the being that wants us to connect with it and be part of it, want ALL the power? That seems more along the lines of the devil... If god exists, we have a backwards view on it, imo.

Well he made Satan, so it's safe to assume he wants him right where is.

Would there be good without evil? Or would all thoughts and deeds be simply neutral? I'm not sure God wanted to be considered neutral - if I were him I'd have created evil and subsequently Satan too just so that everyone could see how wonderful I am in comparison. Then they would worship me and I'd satisfy my giant ego... What about the starving dying children I hear you ask? Ignore them - pray to me.... I order you.

Would there be good without evil?

Well, I believe that that depends on the occasion. Is saving from drowning intrinsically good, or is it good because someone else pushed them in? Yet if there was no pain, then love would feel boring, it makes it all the more richer. So yes, there is some argument that the world we live in is the best world we can live in, and was therefore created by a benevolent creator, yet this argument is shown to be wrong (by natural evil, for the simplest case).

Or would all thoughts and deeds be simply neutral?

Are they not already? Good and bad are human constructions, largely based off of temporary feelings, derived from chemicals released in our brains, rather than logic (that's not to say that good and evil isn't logical, but that understanding comes after a natural understanding of good and bad).

You are assuming God is stuck in time like us. Maybe all of this happening here in our Universe is instantaneous to him. It has already started AND is finished. We are the one's that are stuck in time, not him.

Who's really making an assumption here?

This is a pondering question. It makes one think. I don't think anyone can provide a right answer.
