If Humans have souls would Aliens have them as well?
I have been asking myself this question. What do you folks think?
The alien I am talking about is the one that would be in Flying saucer not a bacteria.

Actually, even the bacteria aliens would have souls. I tend to believe in Plato's version of the three levels of a soul. The most basic is the nutritive soul, which all life has. It is the soul that contains a want for growth and reproduction- the basic life cycles. The next level is the sensitive soul, which all animals have. That would be the soul that allows us to feel and react with others and the environment. The most complex soul would be the rational soul, found only in humans because we possess the ability to think rationally, unlike any other animal on Earth. I'm sure if an alien can build a spacecraft, he would have a rational soul as well. :) Side: yes

keyword if since there is no such thing as a soul, only a brain that is self-aware, and aware of mortality, and doesn't want to not exist anymore. but, if a god is responsible for making stuff, and decided some sentient beings should live forever, I cannot imagine even the christian god would be such an incredible ass as to deprive other sentient beings of that eternal life. and if he is that big of an ass, he can go f--k himself, I'll chill in my grave with the rest of the "unworthies" and he can keep his eternal life.
