If Murder was Legal

Would you take advntage of it? Is there that one person, or more, you could kill and then happily go about your life with no regrets? Maybe the only thing holding you back is what other peopel would think of you and the fact you'd be punished. What if the punishments were made non-existant.

Would you..!?
Edit I know I put " real" Iwasn't thinking xD

People would always be trying to kill me cuz I'm not a likeable person, which means I would have to kill to survive! That would be fun...

Or you could begin to become likeable.

Survival of the most fit to the environment, not the 'fittest' as an absolutely physical term.

If murder was legal, we would be in a parallel universe.

Killing can be legal but murder cannot. Murder is illegal by its very definition.

Side: I would not

Murder is legal in America in the form of abortion. Abortion kills babies.

Downvoting without proving me wrong? How cowardly of you. Show your face.

I'm not the downvoter, but I can prove you wrong. The definition, which is the basis for this whole argument of mine, the definition of murder requires that the killing be illegal. Abortion, since it's legal, is not murder. Now this isn't the abortion debate, so please save the drama about how it's wrong, because I won't even engage you on that, here. All I'm saying is, abortion does not count as murder, so your argument is invalid. If your argument was abortion should be considered murder...well it'd still be invalid, because it does not pertain to the debate at hand, but it'd be a bit more applicable.

I'm assuming you mean killing someone without a reasonable reason to do so (eg self defense) as murder is specifically illegal killing.

I would not do so. The circumstances under which I would kill would remain just as they are now; only by necessity to protect myself and my own.

Seriously, a downvote to this?

Screw you buddy- whether 'murder' is legal or not, I will protect myself and my own by whatever means I deem necessary.

It wouldn't be called murder, and I'd try to avoid doing it. Obviously if someone was trying to kill me, I'd try to prevent them from killing me, and with no fear of legal repercussions I'd be more inclined to kill that person if it was the only option to protect myself, but mostly I'd live a kill free life.

Side: I would not

Nope. If you murdered someone, the odds of you being murdered in turn would increase dramatically.

Side: I would not

I wouldn't just kill someone. If murder is legal than assault has to be legal. So in self defense, assault sounds reasonable. If someone starts choking me though, I'm using all those martial arts I love so much.

And the attacker can go f* himself in hell. I'd avoid it if I thought there was a way of winning the fight without killing. Maybe crippling him.

I wouldn't just kill someone I didn't like though. That would be dumb.

Nope. If you want to harm someone that badly writing on a piece of paper will not stop them. Anyone sane wouldn't do it and crazy people don't follow the law

Side: I would not

I couldn't do it. I know it is wrong and my conscience would haunt me forever.
