If the USA isn't on top then who is? As things stand at the moment that would be China. So USA is gone and now China is the new ruling super power - the planet is still abused by ignorant greedy individuals, we still plummet head first towards ecological disaster. As long as we are ruled by a state that cares nothing for individual life and cares nothing for humanity as a whole we head towards the inevitable.

As I sit here typing this millions of tons of foul oil gush into the ocean, our reckless use of technology slowly destroys the very atmosphere of our precious planet, millions of lives are taken every day to feed us (us, the only animal capable of making a moral distinction between anything), billions of us live in ignorance of the things we know of the world, billions who have for the first time in history the knowledge right at their fingertips (knowledge accumulated over fifteen thousand years, knowledge others would have died for, knowledge thought impossible of obtaining) choose to ignore it in favor of stories, myths and speculation that have existed in one form or another for thousands of years, long before we had any alternate explanation.

I fear there's something very wrong with society and it will either take a big wake up call for us to get our act together or we won't be lucky enough to get a second chance.

Liberty......until liberty is taken away from americans, and it slowly is being taken away, Americans will be on top and the light on a hill for the rest of the world.
