Basically this. You "are" your Genetics + Environment. If you change your genetics, or change the environment you grow up in. You become a completely different person. If you want it more specific, what develops a person is their genetics + their memories. If you remove someone's Memories or replace them, they become a different person. If you change someone's Genetics they become a different person. Side: Of course
