Abortion will never be illegal again in this country, the Republican party would never allow it. They depend on abortion being legal so that they can campaign against it and get gullible people to vote Republican because they mistakenly think Republicans are with them. They aren't. If abortion were made illegal the Republican party would cease to exist. 2

The Democratic party used gay marriage for votes for years, until it was made legal. That didn't destroy the Democratic party, so why would illegal abortion kill the Republican party? I think you have it all wrong. Republicans WANT abortion to be illegal. We don't "depend" on abortion, we just want it to be illegal because abortion is bad. Why would we want something to be legal in order to campaign against it? I'm not sure where you're getting this information from. If abortion was made illegal, the Republican Party would still be alive, we wouldn't cease to exist. Our party isn't at stake of anything. 1

It's voluntary murder, and should be punished as such. Once the egg is fertilized, and it has the potential to grow into a functioning human being, it is (or rather should be considered) life/living. From that point on, any attempts or methods to kill it should be punished as such. -1
