If homosexuality was a choice would that be relevant to its morality?

I never thought about it like that before, interesting... The reason I made this debate is we often use the argument (not that I am complaining, as I am pro same-sex marriage) that homosexuality isn't a choice (which I agree), but this seems to me to imply, at least at first, that if homosexuality was a choice it would be wrong (which I would disagree with). Oh, I get you. The debate regarding whether homosexuality is or is not a choice is a sideshow to the main debate, and that's the one regarding the morality of homosexuality. The crowd that holds homosexuality to be immoral cannot hold that position if homosexuality is not a choice; morality is only applicable to consciously made choices/decisions. Consider, for a moment, an anti-gay individual who believed that homosexuality was not a choice, but still called it wrong and immoral; they aren't bad because of what they did, they are bad because of what they ARE. This is the same thing, more or less, as racism and sexism. Obviously, that's not a tenable position to hold. It's not that homosexuality would be immoral or wrong if it were a choice- it's that it simply does not reasonably have the potential to be called immoral or wrong unless it is assumed to be a choice. If it's not a choice, then morality simply doesn't apply to it. Side: Yes, because...

This isn't a debate on whether or not it is a choice, but rather whether or not it being a choice would make any difference in it being immoral or not. I agree it isn't a choice, at least largely to a degree. edit Oh shit, I just realized you are saying it's a choice. But your post is so ignorant I can only assume your a troll. Side: Yes, because...
