NOBODY (on the left, that is), says masks protect protesters. They obviously would help SOME. If Americans would act like Americans, we wouldn't have PROTESTS! But, we have those who don't realize that "A nation that holds its freedoms above its principles soon loses BOTH"! D.D. Eisenhower.

"I WANT MY FREEDOM! Principles? What's that?? It's the things that consider OTHER Americans, other lives above our wanting to have a little fun! A little enjoyment and Fk the others.

If this pandemic had been handled THE WAY IT SHOULD HAVE ... the way it was already thought about and laid out by "People with knowledge", and not just decided that "It will magically go away" (It's cheaper that way;-), we could be thinking of sports, realistically! But, no, the children decided they had the RIGHT to PLAY! O.K. Go to the full sports stadium. I hope there are enough physically and mentally capable medical personnel and first responders to care for you. You can always call "The Donald", I'm sure he'll be more than willing to give you his expert medical advice (drink some Chlorox ;-),and tell you how you can GET BACK TO WORK! That is, if your place of business still is operational with enough survivors from the game. ;-)

Because masks aren't meant to protect the people wearing them, they are meant to protect others. If EVERYONE wore a mask then sure, it's probable we could have stadium events, but we have too many idiots who refuse to wear one or those that have it but wear it incorrectly (either because they are stupid as hell or being petulant AND stupid as hell.)

Wearing a face mask provides a significant means of both avoiding and spreading disease.

I mean, I never heard of Batman or the Lone Ranger ever being incapacitated by a viral infection.
