The court has BEEN packed. Democrats will, as has been done several times, try to bring it back into balance. The SCOTUS is NOT intended to be a political OR religious tool, it is supposed to be FAIR. The SCOTUS has been added to and subtracted from several times. Putting it in balance is a patriotic thing to do. Recently three religious radicals have been put on the court. That's not "freedom of religion", that's religious domination! Exactly what this nation was founded AGAINST!
Neither Party, should pack the Supreme Court. Instead, a neutral, Constitutionally minded body should oversee these things. I am a centrist, and I think political Parties are pure bullshit. Instead, vote based on political ideology, and policy.

You can't even do that if the candidates aren't honest about what their policies are. I'm pretty sure George W Bush didn't run on invading Iraq, but at least one of his staff wrote about how the invasion plans were on his desk his very first day in office.

Truth is, the makeup of the Supreme Court isn't mandated in the Constitution.. It's up to Congress. Moscow Mitch stole that seat because it was LEGAL for him to do so. The Dems are gonna steal it back because it's LEGAL for them to do so.
The Dems are mad because Trump has set their agenda back by at least half a decade. So..., if they find a way to pack the courts, they probably will. However, if they open up that Pandora's box, the Cons will do the same when they get a chance. In that scenario, the future holds a court with an unwieldy number of justices ;)

I don't know about you but..., my investments are up. You just have to learn to read the market. volatility is opportunity. You are absolutely right cherry drop, but what people are not doing is making sure they are pissed off with the right people. When anger is misdirected things like WW2 happen.
9/11 is the best case example in my own living memory. Americans didn't make sure they were getting pissed off with the right people, and because of that probably upwards of two million people who had no involvement in 9/11 lost their lives. And that's still true even if you believe the complete crock of lies about bin Laden being the mastermind.
