I've not been on this site for a while and know I've been on here for like 5 minutes and I've already found someone who said they were the next Stalin, someone who said Hitler was their role model, like twenty strong homophobics... Like, what? Seriously, if the world was ruled by these guys we would be in trouble. Side: You'd Better Believe It

Schools would cease to be about anything but evolution and creationism, and inside churches large mobs of people would demand theists to justify the existence of God. When someone got bored of that they would start destroying whatever they could, which would result in the rest of the people trying hard to maintain status quo. Life would be reduced to an endless cycle of destruction and rebuilding of the same momuments over and over again. Side: You'd Better Believe It

Just because the future of the world is within our hands, doesn't mean that we're in trouble. There is no casual connection shown between us and the consequent action of everyone being in trouble (Slippery slope). The debate itself have not provided a clear reason for why it would happen, therefore it's invalid, and the resulting arguments over it may be based from unproved assumptions (or opinions). There is no casual connection shown between us and the consequent action of everyone being in trouble That's a weird thing to say. First off, the question here is whether there is a casual connection, so to simply deny the possibility of such a connection without giving any reason is begging the question. Secondly, if we were in power then obviously we would have casual power to bring everyone in trouble. The resulting arguments over it may be based from unproved assumptions You pretty much summed up everything we do here on humans do all the time, but that doesn't stop it from being an intelligible behavior.
