Conservatives would want the states to decide. Red states would likely approve the Gulags, blue states the projects. Since many of them are veterans they should go to veterans homes, but, since so much military allotment is being used to protect the country from dangerous women and children there is likely a shortage of funds for that. There are literally thousands of homes in areas that are vacant or run down. If we legalized weed and taxed it, that money could easily cover enough to fix up the houses, get the poor and homeless in them and help them become self-sufficient, either by helping them to get jobs or by getting them the medical/mental health help they need. We would still have money left over to put into schools and adult education. Side: A housing project

The homeless are a result of Progressive political correctness. Have you noticed the terrible problems they are having in the most Liberal State in our Nation... California? Your bleeding heart amoral culture has created a break down in our family unit, and the very people who were once cared for by family, are now outcast to the streets. Do you see what happens when you separate our Christian heritage from a Nation? Nah, you are too deceptive to ever admit the truth. They first must create a society of Government dependents, and to do this they must first censor any mention of our Christian heritage and moral responsibility. Once they have created enough selfish entitled dependents, they create a voting block of dead beats who will elect the Politicians who give them the most free stuff. In California it worked with a Democrat stranglehold on the nation, until the people started moving out from all the homeless on the streets. No sir. The problem is neoliberalism and/or capitalism. Let me define these for you. Neoliberalism is basically, you're on your own, but we will take from you as we see fit. Capitalism is basically, unless you're the capital owner, you get what we decide to give you. So how does that work vis a vis homelessness? Neoliberalism is making so that homeless people are responsible for errors made prior to their existence. If you grew up in an unstable home or whatever, there is no government support to help you get on your feet. If your parents were assholes, then you will grow up poor. That segues into capitalism. If you are poor, entering a capitalist system, you are the most vulnerable. You are the most desperate, most exploitable. People like these don't get to shop around, don't have private safety nets to rely on. And with the absence of public safety nets, its either homelessness or, well homelessness. Thanks to the leverage given to corporations, most of these desperate people can't afford a place to live even if they do work. I don't know wtf you people want anymore. Just define what it is that you want that deserves a living wage and lets put that into law. Side: A housing project

The reasons there are so many more dead beat parents, or non existent parents today, is because of this Godless no fault anything goes amoral culture Liberalism has ushered in. Why do you think kids are raised by lousy unloving parents? It's because they lived this new age anything goes sexual revolution. They had the one night hook ups, the father walks away, the child is raised by welfare moms. This is why so many teens join gangs. This is the family they never had! If a person is poor and entering a capitalist system, HE GETS A JOB LIKE EVERYONE ELSE! If he does not, he has chosen to live life in poverty. PERIOD! Look at all the homeless in the streets even though that State has the largest Social network in the nation. Look at all the people moving out of California to Texas and other States.
