If we create a human clone will we be doing God's work?

With the huge advancements in technology I suspect that some person will attempt a human clone and be successful. If we can create a human being without reproduction are we doing God's work since he is known as the only person that can create human life? Will God become irrelevant if we can create beings with supernatural abilities? Would we be on an equivalent scale with God?

I am aware that some people don't believe God exists. I am talking about the Christian God. You don't have to believe he exists. We can just use him as a reference or something.

Yes, but competition is a good thing. It will make God take it to the next level.

Side: Yes

I would assume so. I mean if we can do what God is said to only do we are the new gods.

Yes if we created human clones we basically would be playing "God" but even if someone does make human clones they are bound to make a lot of mistakes because a man makes a lot of mistakes and we aren't perfect so making a clone would probably be impossible right now and they're laws that state we can't clone.

The implication is that a successful clone that can be tweaked however we like has already been created. I am fully aware that there are laws that state that is cannot be performed, but if it was would God be needed anymore?
