President's Poopy Pant's mindless policy of further adding to our outrageously extravagant borrowing is a classic case of kicking the can up the road.

Even fools, well most fools at any rate, know that loans must be repaid, usually with, as in this case, with eye-wateringly high rates of interest.

To be even-handed here our world record debt was incurred by both Republican and DImocrat Administrations.

Obama pretty well doubled our debt from $10 trillion to $22 trillion and Trump didn't try to draw a line in the sand and call a halt to our disgraceful addiction to irresponsible borrowing.

Our children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and maybe beyond will curse America's post WW2 generations into hell.

That's you and me.

The right is too stupid to even spell creditor. Leave opinions to smart people.

Hello M:

The question isn't how much debt we have. The question is how much income we have. IF, with the stroke of a pen, we can tax the very, very, very rich to pay for EVERYTHING on our wish list, then NOT spending it would be irresponsible..

If we taxed the top 10% at a rate of 90%, it would take over ten thousand years to pay off the debt. And in real life, we don't tax the top 10% at 90%, and they would just offshore their money or move if you tried. Fox News didn't invent economics or basic math.

Hello Trash:

Couple things.

I'm not talking about the richest 10%.. I'm talking about the richest 1%.. And, we don't have to pay off our debt with it, all at once, just like you don't have to pay your mortgage all at once..

What the Dim witted DIms don't understand, or pretend not to understand is that if hyper wealthy individuals or highly successful corporations feel they're being fleeced to help pay for the gross mis-management of the nation's economy by a mob of left-wing incompetents they will simply relocate their employment and wealth generating businesses to countries where the tax levels are lower.

Look on your on doorstep and observe how major companies and high achieving individuals are moving away from the high tax, crime ridden Liberal controlled States to States with more reasonable tax rates.

The power-crazed unions are a mirror image the closed minded mentality of the left-wing advocates of high levels of individual wealth and corporation tax.

When the arrogant left-wing loony Unions demanded unrealistically high salaries for their members the employers simply relocated their operations abroad, mainly to Asia, but in many instances to Europe.

The smart ass belligerent Unions lost 100s of 1000s of American jobs due to their misguided communist agenda and a misjudged opinion of their own importance.
