If you cannot help but overhear a conversation is it still eavesdropping? Why or why not?

if two or more people are having a conversation, lets say infront of you, and they are not making the effort to quiet it down does it still qualify as eavesdropping?

Hello, everyone!

I would like to appeal to team leader. It is very interesting topic, which I have ever had to join it.

First of all, let me explain what is eavesdropping?

Eavesdropping is interception, listening to the passive interception of data sent over the wire, such as unprotected content transactions. There are passive interception (passive eavesdropping) - interception without affecting the exchange of messages, and active (active eavesdropping).

Eavesdropping is a way, which is combined by 2 synesthetic abilities: hearing and analyzing. Person's organism is organized in this way-we can hear, see, feel, touch, taste without any instructions. We control ourselves, but these synesthetic abilities cannot be controlled by us. They are as instincts. For example, when someone says: "Do not look at my skirt, it is dirty". We immediately look at it. It is like random action and brain does not say-do t. It is reflection or reaction. That is why when we hear someone' talks, our ears catch every sound, because we can hear everything. On the contrary, when you hear someone's talks, some people do it with special goals: it is interesting or important to know. As for interest, we want to hear that, which attracts us and interesting for us-everyday life situation, hobbies, studies and so on. Concerning essence, if scientists talk about new innovation, it is even good to overhear. Anyway, it also bases on interets, but to eavesdrop is useful. We get new information by hearing and watching, that is why it would be better to use these 2 types of abilities in study.

To sum up, passive eavesdropping means to leave conversation without any response. Active eavesdropping means to overhear with concentration. Eavesdropping is planned interception.

To overhear is to accidentally listen in on a conversation; the dropping of eaves only occurs when one intentionally does so.

If the people are speaking loudly, than it's assumed that their conversation isn't private. And if it is... than, hopefully they'll learn to stop doing so in public.
