If you could travel back in time, where would you go?

I'd like to see the dinosaurs briefly, see if Jesus really did perform miracles, see what my ancestors were like (the interesting ones at least), visit the medieval era, visit the roman empire at the height of it's power... Actually, I'd probably visit every significant time in history now that I think about it. That would take a long time to write, but I think the most important would be seeing if Jesus really did perform miracles.

Pretty good answer :)

i would go back in time to prevent me from getting fat. (lol)

I would like to go back and see if dinosaurs really were purple?

America during the industrail revolution. Skilled labor was respected and people worked. No computers or robots. A whore house in every town. What could be better than this?

I would go back in time to when Jesus Christ was living and I would be see Jesus and watch Him as He dies on the cross and dies for my sins and rises again.

That's a little weird going back in time, just to see someone suffer and die...

I have no idea that the so called God like Jesus could die too? who revived Jesus? another God? is that mean the one that revived Jesus much powerful than Jesus himself?

Wouldn't you rather skip the dying part and go right to the rising part?

2 points

No because I would like to see that and how the Romans did it. And I would be there.

Reasons Jesus cant be the messiah prophesied in the OT:

1) In Matthew 1:23 it is said the messiah will be called immuanuel

2) The messiah must be the physical descendant of david (Romans 1:3 & Acts 2:30) yet he is the physical descendant of god

3) Technichally speaking, hes a bastard

Reasons what you said was wrong:

1) Not immuanuel, emmanuel (I think)

2) Hmmm... He is somehow the descendant of David through Joseph, but not physically. They probably said that in Acts because an outsider would've thought that. Maybe God didn't say he had to be PHYSICALLY descended, but the writer forgot his exact words and then wrote it wrong.

3) Technically speaking - no, just no.

Matthew is in New Testament. He believed Jesus was the messiah. He was quoting Isaiah from Old Testament in 1:23.

Matthew 1:21

"She will give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus,[e] because he will save his people from their sins.”

There are many contradictions in the Bible.

I will travel back in time, to search the first cause, if there's one.

I'd like to go back and talk to one of the most talked about, famous historical figures I can think off. His name appears at least twice in one day for a number of reasons. I recon he would be one of the most interesting people to talk to. Right before he died. Even if he was the worst human being ever to live!

Clue?
